Are you saying they should leave their skin like it is even if it’s not the same color as the character’s and they would rather it be? And if that’s true, what’s the difference between painting your face an odd color to cosplay, say, Princess Bubblegum or a troll from Homestuck, and spray-tanning to cosplay a naturally dark-skinned character?
