Are you referring to the wrong skin color or the blackface one? To revise-quote the previous admin “Some cosplays of inaccurate skin color can look beautiful and still be awesome cosplays, and some people would rather go that extra mile and wear makeup to be 100% accurate. It’s all makeup for makeup’s sake. What’s the difference between painting your face an odd color to cosplay, say, the akuma from D.Gray-man or a troll from Homestuck, and spray-tanning to cosplay a naturally dark-skinned character?”
